Weeki Wachee man arrested for child pornography

WEEKI WACHEE, Fla. - The Florida Department of Law Enforcement with assistance from the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office arrested Michael Shawn Grayson, 48, of 15327 Green Jay Rd., Weeki Wachee, Fla., on nine counts of possession of child pornography and three counts of possession of child pornography with intent to distribute.
 
Task Force agents arrested Grayson at 6270 Commerce Way, Brooksville, Fla. this afternoon. Grayson was arrested without incident. Numerous digital images of child pornography were recovered and agents seized several items of digital media for forensic analysis. 

Agents began investigating Grayson after receiving a tip that an electronic device at his residence was downloading child pornography.

Grayson was booked into the Hernando County Jail on $33,000 bond.  The investigation will be prosecuted by the Office of the State Attorney, 5th Judicial Circuit.
