FDLE arrests Punta Gorda man for child pornography

 
FORT MYERS, Fla. - The Florida Department of Law Enforcement Fort Myers Regional Operations Center Cyber High-Tech Crime Task Force yesterday arrested Dion Desjardins, 43, 15420 Mango Drive, Punta Gorda, Fla. for 10 counts of possession of child pornography. Desjardins uses the online moniker “Lord Knighthawk.” 
   
FDLE Agents executed a search warrant in January at Desjardins’ residence at the time, 15429 Mango Drive, Punta Gorda, Fla. and seized numerous digital devices.  An arrest warrant was obtained for Desjardins after child pornography was discovered on the devices.  Desjardins was booked into the Charlotte County Jail on a $500,000 bond.  
 
The FDLE Fort Myers Regional Operations Center Cyber High-Tech Crime Task Force consists of law enforcement officers from FDLE, Homeland Security Investigations and the Fort Myers Police Department.  The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office assisted FDLE in this investigation.
