FDLE arrests Avon Park man for child pornography

FORT MYERS, Fla. - The Florida Department of Law Enforcement Fort Myers Regional Operations Center Cyber High-Tech Crime Squad arrested Jeffrey Weed, 44, of Avon Park, Fla., for 5 counts of sexual performance by a child.
   
FDLE Agents served a search warrant at Weed’s home, located at 1738 N. Crocus Rd., Avon Park, and located numerous digital images of child pornography.  The Highlands County Sheriff’s Office participated in the operation.
 
Weed was booked into the Highlands County Jail.  The investigation will be prosecuted by the Office of the State Attorney, 10th Judicial Circuit.
