Kristi Gordon Appointed FDLE Public Information Officer


Commissioner Jerry Bailey is pleased to announce the appointment of Kristi Gordon to the position of Public Information Officer in the Office of External Affairs. In this role, Gordon will serve as one of the department’s spokespersons and will be responsible for coordinating news releases, interviews, press conferences and internal communications.

Gordon has been with FDLE for more than 12 years, serving in a variety of analytical and intelligence roles with the Department’s investigative programs. She most recently headed FDLE‘s Counter Terrorism Intelligence Center and spent four years supervising the Florida Investigative Support Center. Gordon also served as a crime intelligence analyst.
Gordon graduated from the Florida State University in 1998 with a bachelor’s degree in criminology.
Gordon begins her new position today and is assigned to FDLE’s Headquarters in Tallahassee where she joins External Affairs Director Heather Smith and Communications Coordinator Keith Kameg. Gordon may be reached at 850-410-7001 and via email at
