Tallahassee Man Arrested for Possession of Child Pornography

Agents with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement Computer Crime Center today arrested John Crouse, 34, of Tallahassee and charged him with 10 counts of sexual performance by a child.

Crouse became a suspect during an undercover investigation by FDLE’s Computer Crime Center. During the investigation, an FDLE agent observed an individual using an Internet chat room to share images that showed children in sexual acts. Agents were able to trace back the user to Crouse.

In July, FDLE agents executed a search warrant at Crouse’s home, located at 3234 Allison Marie Court, and located hundreds of images of child pornography.

Crouse was booked into the Leon County Jail. Additional charges are pending a complete forensic examination of all computers located in Crouse’s home
