Authorities Continue to Seek Information in Five-Year Murder Case


Saturday marks the five-year anniversary of the disappearance of 19-year-old Pamela Kinney from Apalachicola, Fla. Kinney was last seen August 14, 2005 in Apalachicola. Her remains were found on Sept. 5, 2005 in a secluded wooded area off Tilton Road just west of Apalachicola.

Authorities suspect Kinney was murdered at a beach house on St. George Island, Fla. that was closed for repairs after Hurricane Dennis. The Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) and the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office continues to seek any information that may lead to the arrest of the person responsible for Kinney’s murder.

FDLE and the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office are offering a $10,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest and conviction in this case. Anyone with information is asked to call the Franklin County Sheriff's Office at 850-670-8500.
