Madison County Sheriff’s Office and FDLE Make Drug Arrests

The first wave of a year long investigation conducted by the Madison County Sheriff’s Office and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement resulted in the arrests of the following individuals who are part of a major cocaine trafficking organization operating in Madison County.

A large amount of cocaine along with marijuana, cash and two assault weapons were recovered from the residence of Joe Nathan Chandler, 38, as a search warrant was served on his residence. Additional charges are pending against Mr. Chandler and he was booked into the Madison County jail, without bond, for the following charges; Possession with Intent to sell Crack Cocaine – 5 counts; Sale of Crack Cocaine – 5 counts; Trafficking Controlled Substance, Crack Cocaine – 2 counts.

Along with Mr. Chandler the following subjects were arrested as a result of this investigation for the following charges. The subjects were booked into the Madison County Jail without bond:

* James Clarence Hills, Jr., 24; Possession with intent to sell Crack Cocaine – 6 counts; Sale of Crack Cocaine within 1000 feet of a church – 6 counts.
* James Clarence Hills, Sr., 48; Possession with intent to sell Crack Cocaine – 2 counts; Sale of Crack Cocaine within 1000 feet of Public Housing -2 counts; Trafficking Controlled substance, Crack Cocaine – 1 count.
* Keith Antonio Bellamy, 30; Possession with the intent to sell Crack Cocaine – 1 count; Sale of Crack Cocaine within 1000 feet of a church – 1 count.
* Roger W. Monlyn, 43; Possession with the intent to sell Crack Cocaine – 3 counts; Sale of Crack Cocaine within 1000 feet of a church – 3 counts; Trafficking Controlled substance, Crack Cocaine – 1 count.
* Arfayvan Tinarus Hills, 28; Principal of Possession with intent to sell Crack Cocaine- 1 count; Principal sale of Crack Cocaine within 1000 feet of Public Housing – 1 count; Principal of Trafficking Control led Substance, Crack Cocaine within 1000 feet of Public Housing.
* Reginald Mario Davis, 31; Possession with intent to sell marijuana – 1 count; Sale of more that 20 grams of marijuana within 1000 feet of a County Public Recreation Park – 1 count.
