- When submitting vehicles for Crime Scene to process at the lab:
- have consent/search warrant signed, if applicable
- provide adequate case information
- complete a paper receipt with the analyst who receives the vehicle
- Resubmit discs and/or request final sketches/videos for court presentations in a timely manner. Be specific with what is requested/required for court presentations.
- When submitting additional evidence for a case for which FDLE processed any crime scene, please communicate with the crime scene analyst and/or the Evidence Section to confirm the correct FDLE case number is used for submission of additional items.
