Application Process

Submitting Applications

Once project funding is determined, eligible subrecipients will receive an announcement code and will be required to submit an application in OCJG’s Subgrant Information Management ONline, or SIMON. Instructions on how to apply for awards can be found on the funding opportunity page.

Application Review, Approval, and Acceptance

OCJG will review applications for all required elements and ensure the proposed projects meet all the federal and state funding requirements. The assigned OCJG grant manager will work with the subrecipient on any required changes to the agreement. The final application will be approved by the OCJG Bureau Chief. Once the Bureau Chief executes the agreement, award documents will be provided to the subrecipient chief official. The chief official will be required to sign and submit the Certificate of Acceptance to officially execute the subaward agreement.
