FY2018 Residential Substance Abuse Treatment (RSAT)

Overview
The RSAT program allows state and county detention facilities to re-examine the manner in which they provide substance abuse treatment to both males and females who are in correctional custody. RSAT funds may be used to implement three types of evidence-based drug treatment programs within state and local correctional and detention facilities: (1) residential, (2) jail-based, or (3) aftercare.

Matching Funds
This program requires a minimum 25 percent match (in-kind or cash) for any federal funds received.

Eligibility
This solicitation is open to state agencies and units of local government.

Project Period
Subawards will be approved for a 12 month project period between October 1, 2018 and September 30, 2020.
