Northwest Florida Fusion Center

Tampa Bay Regional Intelligence Center Mission Statement

The NWFFC  protects the citizens, visitors, resources, and critical infrastructure of Region One and the State of Florida by preventing or reducing crime and all-hazards through enhanced intelligence and information sharing capabilities and preparedness operations for public and private sector entities, as related to Florida’s statewide domestic security strategy.

What is a Fusion Center?

A fusion center is a collaborative effort of two or more agencies that provide resources, expertise, and/or information to the fusion center with the goal of maximizing the ability to detect, prevent, apprehend and respond to all crimes hazards. The Florida Fusion Center (FFC) headquartered in Tallahassee, Florida is the State's designated fusion center.

The NWFFC serves ten (10) counties in the Northwest region of Florida including Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, Walton, Holmes, Washington, Bay, Jackson, Calhoun, and Gulf. The NWFFC acts as collectors, creators, and multi-directional conduits of relevant information that are vetted, analyzed, and appropriately disseminated to ensure situational awareness and multi-jurisdictional connectivity.
