ALTAMONTE SPRINGS - On Jan. 9, 2013, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement Cyber Crimes Task Force and the Altamonte Springs Police Department arrested Louis Ruggiero, 31, of Altamonte Springs, Fla., for 10 counts of lewd or lascivious battery, seven counts of use of a child in a sexual performance and one count of traveling to meet a minor to commit an unlawful sex act.
FDLE agents and Altamonte Springs police officers arrested Ruggiero at his residence, 827 Camargo Way, Altamonte Springs. A two-month investigation revealed Ruggiero had photographed himself and a juvenile engaged in sexual acts that occurred repeatedly over a five-month period.

Ruggiero was booked into the Seminole County Jail and is being held without bond.
The investigation will be prosecuted by Attorney General Pam Bondi’s Office of Statewide Prosecution.
