PENSACOLA - On September 17, 2012, agents with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement Pensacola Regional Operations Center arrested Okaloosa County Commissioner James Ferriell Campbell, 65, of Niceville, Fla., on 4 counts of official misconduct and 4 counts of perjury.
Today, October 14, 2013, Campbell pled guilty to amended charges of 8 counts of providing false official statements. As a result of the plea agreement, Campbell was sentenced to 400 hours community service, a fine of $4,000.00, 4 years probation, and is required to pay investigative and court costs.
This investigation was prosecuted by the Office of the State Attorney, 1st Judicial Circuit.
