We are currently conducting a follow up study on human trafficking with The University of Central Florida. This study continues the research done by FCJEI Research Fellow Sinode Simon in March 2008.
We are surveying law enforcement and interviewing victims. We also have a cross cultural international component.  The current research sites are South Africa and Florida. In South Africa we work with the Department of Social Work and Criminology at the University of Pretoria. Soon we hope to add Russia and Turkey. We have a 15 member team and will be providing preliminary data and study results when they are available.
