Florida Law Enforcement Analyst Program

The Law Enforcement Analyst Training Program at the Florida Department of Law Enforcement offers training for law enforcement analysts working for state, local, tribal, and federal law enforcement agencies in Florida and the southeastern United States. The program currently offers a 40-hour basic course, the Florida Law Enforcement Analyst Training (FLEAT), and the Florida Law Enforcement Analyst Academy (FLEAA), a 6-week advanced course of study referred to as the Academy. In addition, the program offers periodic training sessions for advanced and senior law enforcement analysts.

All course content and training curricula are reviewed regularly to ensure the training and education needs of student analysts and agency partners are met.
